Space Odyssey Birthday Theme

Kids as well as adults are intrigued by outer space, this theme will have your guests engaged in out of this world fun! Picture a moon shaped birthday cake, with craters and an astronaut walking on it. There could be mini moon cupcakes too! Games like find the moon rocks, name the planets, perhaps set up a station with toy rocket launchers with sponge darts that the kids can shoot at the different planets for points. The planets could be drawn on bristol board and attached along a fence in your backyard. If you want to add some extra fun, purchase disposable white overalls and have the kids wear them as space suits.
