What you will need to make these Marshmallow Flower Cupcakes
- 24 baked and lightly frosted cupcakes
- 1 bag of mini marshmallows
- kitchen scissors
- colored decorative sugars
- edible pearls
Now that your cupcakes are lightly frosted begin by cutting your mini marshmallows diagonally and placing in a bowl. You'll want to do this step all at once. So cut quite a few.
There are a couple of different ways to do the decorating. The first method is placing your decorative sugars in little baggies and adding petals to each color and gently shaking to coat them. The second method is to add the petals to the cupcakes first and then sprinkle the decorative sugar over each cupcake and shake excess off gently. You can experiment to see which method works best for you.
Begin at the outer edge of the cupcake and start placing the petals one by one with the flat side down and the pointed end is facing out. Work your way to the center of the cupcake repeating this process. When you reach the center fill this in with the edible pearls.
That's it, they look beautiful, almost too good to eat but you'll want to share them.
